URBAN is a programme that relies on its projects to deliver the objectives that we have agreed with Europe. All our projects are partnerships with other funders.
We aim to support projects that genuinely put the community first; and to put the communities in our area at the heart of our decision making processes.
URBAN would like to make a long-term difference to South Bristol. It won't do any good if all we are is a bit of a splash and nothing really changes after the money finishes in 2006.
If you think your organisation has a project that fits with URBAN, with the local community, and supports young people, talk to the team. We're always happy to hear new ideas, even if they are 'blue sky', and you don't have all the answers yet. We may be able to help, even if that's only with advice on where else to look for money or support. And if URBAN can't help, we aim to tell you as quickly as we can.
