Government Office for the South West chairs the Programme Monitoring Committee (PMC). It includes representatives from the UK Government, senior members of important local organisations, such as the Regional Development Agency and the Learning and Skills Council. The PMC is responsible for approving the Action Plan and making sure that the decisions the UPG takes make sense when compared with other activities not just in South Bristol, but in Bristol, the UK, and in Europe as a whole.
